Andrew fell ill last spring. Rather, the symptoms have been since the fall of 2017, but we learned the diagnosis in March 2018. Tumor of the medulla oblongata. Unfortunately, this is a verdict for our country. But the child was in a very serious condition, so treatment options abroad were not considered at that time, because we did not have time. To avoid a heavy load on the veins, Andrew was installed subcutaneously port. This system does not cause discomfort and makes the drip less painful. A total of 11 courses of chemotherapy are planned. After chemotherapy, blood counts deteriorated slightly, and the doctor gave Andrew injections to restore them. The results of MRI after the first two courses, showed a positive trend in treatment, which is very happy family and friends of Andrew. Now, the boy has a short, two-week break before the third and fourth blocks.
