Arina is our only child. The pregnancy was not easy. Therefore, our daughter was born prematurely, exactly at 36 weeks of pregnancy by cesarean section. The child was born with a congenital heart defect - patent ductus arteriosus. Every six months we go for a check-up to monitor the work of the heart and the hole itself. After the last ultrasound, the doctors said that the indicators are disappointing, the hole is getting bigger, which is why the child needs an operation as soon as possible - closing the patent ductus arteriosus endovascularly using an occluder to avoid serious consequences.
The operation will be performed free of charge, but we need to purchase the occluder itself - a heart implant that will help solve the heart problem and allow our daughter to live a full life. However, the cost of the necessary occluder is too high for our family, where only my husband works. Therefore, we are forced to turn to caring people for help.
