Among the many unresolved issues in the medical field of Ukraine today, one of the most acute problems is the problem of treatment and rehabilitation of children with organic lesions of the central nervous system.
The level of such diseases is growing all over the world, and our country is no exception. The socio-economic situation in Ukraine and environmental factors also played a role in this negative process. All this could not but affect the health of mothers and the health of their children.
Pediatric disability in general is 60-70% represented by pathology of the nervous system. The leading pathology of the nervous system is cerebral palsy. It is followed by epilepsy and mental retardation.
We have been helping children with cerebral palsy since 2010. Since 2013, we have been cooperating with the Volodymyr Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic (Truskavets), and in 2019 with the KidsRehab Clinic. According to the Foundation’s program, only full-time treatment in one of the specialized rehabilitation centers is paid in full. Accommodation and travel are not paid by the Fund.
