Chereshenka boarding school
An institution with round-the-clock care for children. Its residents are children from 2 to 18 years old. Today, the institution provides shelter for 137 children, including orphans and children deprived of parental care, children from families in difficult life circumstances, children from the territories bordering Russia and the war zone. Until recently, the institution was the center of the community's sports life: district sports competitions and friendly meetings with children's groups from the community's schools were held at the institution. Pupils often went on excursions and sports competitions to the regional center on their own. Today, due to the dangerous condition of the gym floor, children are forced to refuse to participate in district-level sports competitions at the facility, and physical education classes are usually held outside or in the school corridor. One of the main problems of the institution is the lack of a vehicle with a capacity of up to 10 seats to transport the children to the hospital, sports complex, etc., as the institution is located 15 km from the center of the territorial community. The children of the institution are deprived of the opportunity to visit museums, the zoo, and other places of interest in the region. In the period 2003-2010, the furniture in the classrooms and dormitory rooms was renovated. However, over the long period of its use, some of the furniture has become unusable, and some is periodically repaired on its own. The institution needs to update the furniture in classrooms (desks, chairs, cabinets) and in dormitories (beds, chairs, wardrobes, bedside tables). The administration and the children and adult staff of the institution will be grateful for any assistance. Since 2019, assistance has been provided for UAH 352 000 Future project: renovation of the gym Join in helping children deprived of parental care!
