One in three newborns is born with this condition. "Wine" spots are often located on the face or neck, they themselves do not pass, then only increase in size, they need to be removed. The presence of the stain threatens not only the medical consequences, but causes serious discomfort to the child - it is more difficult to adapt, communicate with peers, she feels insecure.
Under the Ufond.Faces program, since August 2015, our foundation has been cooperating with the Kyiv Institute of Dermatocosmetology of Dr. Bogomolets. The institute opened in 1994. It was the first medical center in Ukraine, where modern technologies were used in the treatment of various skin and vascular diseases. Surgery in most cases has been replaced by a gentle laser method. At the moment, cooperation with the Dr. Bogomolets Institute has been suspended. The Fund is open to new proposals for cooperation and partnership under this program.
