Filling your heart with good, you fill children’s hearts with life! PrivatBank and the Ukrainian Relief Fund continue their campaign to help children with heart defects. More than 4,000 children with congenital heart disease are born in Ukraine every year. Most of them need surgery. Clinics do not have enough state budget to help all those in need. We raise funds for the purchase of equipment for endovascular surgery for children. During the campaign it is planned to purchase occluders (patches for children’s hearts), stents, conduits and to conduct operations. We are confident that the simple and convenient mechanics of the action will find a response in the hearts of our customers, and together we will be able to make a significant contribution to the healthy future of our children.
PrivatBank and Ufund held their first joint action in 2011. Then the bank’s clients donated UAH 282,303, these funds went to pay for the treatment of 19 wards of the Fund. The second joint action took place in 2015, when the campaign managed to raise more than UAH 1,200,000. Paid operations for 23 children with heart defects. The children received comprehensive medical care - from preparation for hospitalization to further rehabilitation.

Heart defects are congenital or acquired changes in the structures of the heart (valves, septa, walls of the outgoing vessels), which disrupt the movement of blood inside the heart or in the great and small circles of blood circulation.
