The Fora retail chain together with the well-known children’s dairy brand Yagotynske for Children and the Ukrainian Aid Foundation are announcing the start of the next stage of the charity event "Heart Beats Thanks to…", which is aimed at helping sick children with heart defects.
The charity event will take place from September 1 to 30, 2019 in all stores of the Fora retail chain. During the campaign, 1 hryvnia will be donated to charity for each unit of Yahotynske for Children TM, which will be sold in chain stores.
All funds raised during September will be used to purchase equipment for endovascular surgery for children with heart defects. In particular, occlusal implants, stents and conduits.
Operations for children will be performed in the best specialized clinics of Ukraine - at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. MM Amosov and at the Kyiv Heart Institute.
It will be recalled that TM Yahotynske for Children together with the Fora network and the Ukrainian Relief Fund are holding a charity event "Heart beats thanks to…" for the third year in a row. In 2017 and 2018 , according to the results of the actions, 6 little Ukrainians underwent heart surgery on the funds raised.
Reference: more than 4,000 children with congenital heart defects are born in Ukraine every year. Most of them need surgery. Hospitals do not have enough money from the state budget to help anyone in need.
