The diagnosis was confirmed to us at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after NM Amosov, where doctors said that the "hole" should be closed as soon as possible. The heart is weak, overloaded and can lead to serious complications. Cardiac surgeons advise to perform the operation without cutting the chest, and close the defect with a special spiral. This equipment is expensive and our family has to buy it themselves, but we do not have such an opportunity. Kost e Serov successfully performed endovascular surgery at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after NM Amosova (Kyiv). Open ductus arteriosus closed through vessels by means of a special spiral occluder. The operation was sparing and minimally traumatic, lasting a little over an hour. The work of the cardiovascular system is restored, Kostya is healthy and feeling well. An hour after the operation, we visited and congratulated Kostya on this wonderful event in his life.
