Joint charity campaign of the Ukrainian Relief Fund and PrivatBank - "Immaculate Heart"
Ukrainian Aid Fund and PrivatBank summed up the charity event "Immaculate Heart". Let children’s hearts beat. " From March 2015 to April 2016, any customer of the bank could make a donation for the treatment of children with congenital heart disease. For this purpose, PrivatBank provided its infrastructure: more than 7,300 ATMs and 3,287 branches and outlets throughout Ukraine. Those wishing to help could also use the services of the Internet Bank Privat24. The campaign managed to raise more than UAH 1,200,000. Paid surgery for 23 children with heart disease.
PrivatBank is an international banking group, serving over 20 million corporate and private clients in Ukraine, Georgia, Latvia, Portugal, Italy and other countries. More than 1.5 million people in Ukraine use the bank’s services every day.
PrivatBank and Ufund held their first joint action in 2011. Then the bank’s clients donated UAH 282,303, these funds were used to pay for the treatment of 19 Ufond wards. Children with congenital heart disease received comprehensive medical care, from preparation for hospitalization to subsequent rehabilitation.
The current action was the second, and we again chose the charity program "Immaculate Heart" - the most popular among readers and partners of the Fund.
Up to 4,000 children with heart disease are born in Ukraine every year. Most of them require surgery. Clinics do not have enough state budget to help everyone in need. With the help of readers and partners, the Fund raises money for the treatment of children in the best clinics in Ukraine - the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after NM Amosov (Kyiv) and the Kiev Heart Institute.
PrivatBank has become our faithful ally since the first days of the fund’s operation. Back in 2010, when the Fund only began to apply a system of collecting donations through electronic payments, it was PrivatBank that volunteered to set up the process in a few days. And set up! Since then, our readers have the opportunity to transfer money in the simplest and most convenient way (and now without a bank interest fee).
