82,604 hryvnias were collected. The Easy Help Charitable Foundation, PrivatBank clients and Ufond readers raised UAH 82,604. OPERATED.

Our child is long-awaited. On the ultrasound everything was without deviations and we were happy to wait for her appearance. Immediately after birth, doctors heard noises in the baby’s heart, but no one said exactly what happened to the baby. After the ultrasound, we learned that Milan has an open ductus arteriosus and an open oval window. At first, we did not understand the seriousness of the problem and all our regional specialists assured us that everything would be fine. But the opposite happened, unfortunately.
Milana was gaining weight, even feeding was hard work for her, she got tired quickly and had a lot of rest. Our girl often suffered from viral diseases, which did not always occur in a mild form and with complications. Over the past two months, we have begun to notice changes in our baby’s health. The child began to rest more often, after some activity the rest time always increased. We began to notice that Milan sweats very often, although there were no objective reasons for this. The daughters have a pronounced nasolabial triangle, even after minimal activity. And before all this frequent bronchitis. This whole situation alarmed us and without waiting for a scheduled examination, we went to a medical institution for a heart examination. When we learned the result, we were all shocked by the news, after all, our girl had every chance to close the open arterial duct and open oval window, but the heart could not withstand two defects and began irreversible changes. We were advised to contact the Amosov Institute. After an examination by qualified doctors and a recommendation, an urgent operation to close the open arterial duct was scheduled.
We always rely on our own strength and resources, but unfortunately, for our family, the cost of an occluder to close a heart defect is unaffordable. I am on maternity leave, my father’s income does not exceed 10 thousand hryvnias. These funds are enough only for the minimum needs of the family. Therefore, we ask your foundation to help you buy an occluder for Milan. Victoria Gangur, Transcarpathian region.
Head of the Department of Endovascular Treatment of Congenital and Acquired Heart Defects of the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after MM Amosova Igor Ditkovsky (Kyiv): "To avoid the progression of complications that have already begun to develop, Milan requires surgery - closing the heart defect by endovascular method with an occluder. After the operation, the child will recover quickly, return to active life and be healthy.

The occluder supplier issued an invoice for UAH 82,604.
