The son’s illness began spontaneously: with a rash on the body and fever. We went to the Brovary Children’s Polyclinic to see a gastroenterologist, who prescribed liver treatment and a strict diet. Ten days of treatment did not work, Nazar’s condition only worsened. We did not wait long, we immediately turned to another specialist, who found in Nazar a suspicion of Botkin’s disease (hepatitis A - an acute infectious disease of the liver). The son was immediately hospitalized at the Brovary Children’s Hospital, and treatment was prescribed. On the second day of treatment, the son had a general detailed blood test, and was diagnosed with acute leukemia ... It was a shock for us! For a while, we couldn’t figure out what could have happened to our son. We hoped that the results were wrong. We were referred to the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital in the Department of Pediatric Oncohematology. Having passed the tests there, Nazarchik’s diagnosis was confirmed - acute myeloid leukemia, the first acute period. In order not to waste time, Nazar was immediately hospitalized and treatment was started. At the moment, the son is being prepared for the fifth block of chemotherapy. Nazar loses weight quickly. Despite the general fatigue and weakness, his condition is satisfactory, but he tolerates chemotherapy very painfully.
Nazar is a benevolent, joyful and active child. Now, to continue treatment, he needs special drugs, medicines and consumables, which are not cheap. We can’t afford to buy everything we need ourselves, so fellow villagers and caring people help. We also ask for your help. Vadim Boyko, Kyiv region
The attending physician of the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital of the Children’s Oncohematology Department Dima Sergei Vitalevich: “Nazar has already undergone four blocks of chemotherapy. Treatment should be continued to improve the child’s condition. There are several more blocks of chemotherapy ahead, which require medicines and consumables. ”

The supplier of medicines and consumables billed UAH 8,500.
