A special education institution with the right of a legal entity that meets the needs of citizens with special educational needs in complete general secondary education, which combines the classical principles of the correctional pedagogical process and actively introduces innovative correctional and developmental technologies. The institution provides for in-depth study of vocational training for children from primary school age. The Center's system of work is aimed at providing special educational training, developing a child with a disability as a person, his or her inclinations, interests, abilities and self-determination.

The Rozbyshiv NRC is a special institution of general secondary education for children with intellectual disabilities combined with autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and other complex disorders.
The NRC is located on the banks of the Khorol River, in the former estate of the landowner Oleksii Hryhorovych Ursatiev. Initially, there was an agricultural college on the territory of the estate. Since 1938, the manor has housed a home for orphans.
On September 24, 1966, as a result of reorganization, a boarding school for mentally retarded children was established on the site of the orphanage. On 20.10.1998, Rozbyshivska Auxiliary Boarding School changed its name to Rozbyshivska Special General Education Boarding School for Children with Physical or Mental Disabilities; on 15.03.2005, it was renamed Rozbyshivska Special General Education Boarding School of Poltava Region.
The center trains, educates and provides correctional and pedagogical assistance to more than 100 students (most of them from Poltava region), who are provided with the conditions for education, upbringing and rehabilitation. The children of the Center are aged from 6 to 16.

Since 2021, assistance has been provided for UAH 415 000
