Sofia is a sincere and kind girl, she sees only good in all people. A daughter was born prematurely. At 6 months, we went to a neurologist because my daughter did not try to sit down. They began to stimulate the muscles of the spine, take courses in various drugs, and at 10 months Sofiyka sat on her own. The joy knew no bounds!
At the age of one year and three months, the daughter began to walk on her own. But later, we began to notice that Sophia hardly spoke. The pediatrician sent us for an examination of the brain, during which the child was diagnosed with inflammation of the brain.
And treatment again. From 3 to 6 years, we did everything prescribed by doctors. As a result, the inflammation disappeared. We cried with happiness that everything was over and left behind. But the happiness did not last long. During a pre-school medical examination, the ophthalmologist diagnosed the daughters with low vision - 0.6 in both eyes. It is impossible to convey in words what we felt at that moment. But, these were not all exams for our family.
We decided to do a hearing test. If the vision is so bad, then check the hearing to be calm. It turned out that hearing in Sofia was also impaired. Only because my daughter’s left ear hears a little better, we did not understand that there are problems. We were treated by an otolaryngologist, but there was no improvement. Now, in order for Sofiyka to hear better, she needs two-eared digital hearing aids. Their cost is high for our family, because only my father works as a serviceman, and I am on maternity leave, with three children, where Sofia is the eldest. Despite everything that Sofia had to go through, she grows up very happy, and most importantly a good child, she tries at school. Hearing aids are a hope and a chance for a daughter, because she wants her peers to communicate with her and understand her, so that her daughter can hear this world.
