Sofia Bodnar successfully operated at the Vinnytsia Children’s Regional Hospital.During endovascular surgery, the open ductus arteriosus is closed through the vessels by means of a spiral occluder. The operation is gentle and minimally traumatic. According to cardiac surgeon Igor Ditkovsky, the operation went without complications. Heart rate is normal, blood circulation is restored. The girl is feeling well and was discharged home the day after the operation.
