Sumy Regional Specialized Children's Home
The purpose of the institution is to provide medical and social assistance to children, orphans, children without parental care, children with disabilities, children from families in difficult life circumstances (at the request of their parents). It has 60 beds for children from birth to 4 years old. It is located in Sumy, 35 km from the state border. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the institution was evacuated to Germany (03/25/2022). Since May 2023, the institution has resumed operations at its main location. As of 03/30/2024, there are 39 children in the institution, including 17 children under 1 year old, 14 children aged 1-3 years old, and 8 children over 3 years old, including 3 children with childhood disabilities. Currently, the institution has been evacuated again. Since 2023, assistance has been provided for UAH 195 000 Future project: support on request.
