Svetlana Likhogod successfully performed the operation at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery named after MM Amosova (Kyiv). The atrial septal defect is successfully closed with a special "patch" - the occluder. The operation lasted more than an hour, the heart and circulatory system were restored. The girl’s health is not in danger. She is feeling well. On the third day after the operation, Sveta was discharged home.
