In November 2021, Tatiana was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia. The child was treated for 10 days. At discharge, the doctor advised to take the child to the sanatorium. My daughter returned to school, but a few days later she started coughing again. The next day, Tatiana was taken to the Zhytomyr Regional Children’s Hospital, where she was diagnosed with hydrothorox (it is an accumulation of fluid between the pleural leaves - in the pleural cavity. Pleural leaves cover the lungs and line the inner surface of the chest. Normally, there are only a few milliliters of fluid between them, which performs the function of lubrication - ed .). On the same day, the child underwent a lung puncture. And the next morning, they took another picture, which showed that a lot of fluid had gathered again. A day later, the child was again prepared in the operating room for drainage, so that the fluid constantly drained. On December 20, the daughters underwent a contrast-enhanced CT scan and announced a terrible diagnosis of lymphoma. And again - surgery, anesthesia, sternal puncture… On the eve of the New Year holidays, we went to Okhmatdyt Hospital, where the child was again waiting for another test: toroscopy, thoracotomy and biopsy. And while the survey was conducted, time worked against us. Since then, I hate the weekend, because the New Year holidays have begun, and we have not had a confirmed diagnosis, and therefore there was no treatment, and the child is getting worse every day… On January 6, we were finally transferred to the intensive care unit, at which time the child could no longer move independently. They connected the initial chemistry, which my daughter had a hard time with, but this was just the beginning. Again, the examination, confirmation of the diagnosis and finally announced that the treatment will be long-term, but no one gives any guarantees. The second block of chemotherapy was recently completed, with 5 more blocks ahead. All examinations and treatments cost a lot of money, everything that was in the family has already been spent, so we turn for help to caring people. Please help! Alla Volska, Zhytomyr region. Pediatric hematologist of the NDSL clinic Okhmatdyt Svitlana Granatska:"Tatiana has primary mediastinal diffuse stage 3 B-cell lymphoma.
