We have been through a lot in seven years. We are intensively involved in massages, exercise therapy and swimming in the breaks between rehabilitations. Makar has already undergone twenty-five courses of rehabilitation in various clinics and centers, a course of dolphin therapy and several courses of hippotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractic courses. Now Makar is constantly working with a speech therapist, speech pathologist and attends a specialized kindergarten to prepare for school. Makar Stetsiuk returned from rehabilitation at the Kozyavkin International Rehabilitation Clinic.The boy has already undergone 15 courses of treatment, and the third course, paid by readers and partners of the foundation.
Rehabilitation was very good and fruitful, given that Makar had a new exercise instructor and masseur, he behaved well in all classes! The arms became noticeably stronger and began to stretch better at the elbows, the support on the palms of the hands improved when standing on all fours. The legs in the knees also became better bent and the support on the feet when standing and walking improved. Makar has become more active and mobile! Muscle tone markedly decreased, leg stretching improved, and range of motion increased. The boy became better at holding a spoon while eating and a cup when drinking. Makar’s parents and doctors are very pleased with the results !!!
