Ulyanka was born a healthy baby! The daughter grew and developed normally, but for about four years we discovered problems with the spine. Turning to a private specialist A.V. Voytyuk, we were diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis. Since that time, we have been constantly undergoing treatment: electrophoresis, paraffin, exercise therapy, massage courses, visiting the pool and doing airstretching. After a short period of time, we were disturbed by the kidneys. The doctor said that we have a risk for the formation of sand.
Having problems with the spine and kidneys, we went to the Regional Children’s Hospital. During the examination, we heard murmurs in the heart of our Ulyanka, after which we were sent for an ultrasound scan. The examination showed a deviation and a problem with the heart. Subsequently, the family doctor referred us to a cardiac surgeon, where, at another examination and ultrasound, by another specialist, our fear was confirmed - an operation was needed. Diagnosis - open ductus arteriosus, large. The operation should be carried out in the near future with the help of an occluder. My husband is without official employment, I am on maternity leave, as I am raising a 2-year-old son. We very much hope for the help of the fund, since such a cost is beyond our power. Ulyana Vyshnevska was successfully operated on at the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv. During endovascular surgery, the open ductus arteriosus is closed through the vessels with the help of an occluder-spiral. The operation is gentle and minimally traumatic. According to cardiac surgeon Dmytro Besh, the operation went without complications. Heart rate is normal, blood circulation has been restored. The girl feels well and was discharged home the next day after the operation.
