Victoria Sepik
Victoria was born a healthy child. In kindergarten and school, she underwent all medical examinations. Physiological development was at a normal level. The child was engaged in: folk dancing, drawing, and studied English from an early age. In the sixth grade, during another medical examination, an ophthalmologist discovered a visual defect in Victoria - it turned out that the right eye could see no more than 10-15 percent. Further treatment did not give a positive result. Visual acuity remained at the same level. In the summer of 2024, the child began to suffer from constant headaches. An MRI diagnosed an optic nerve glioma. During further examination, namely an ultrasound of the heart, Victoria was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect - a secondary atrial septal defect with volumetric overload of the right heart. Doctors recommend urgently performing an endovascular closure of the DMPP, after which we will begin treatment of the tumor (glioma). The operation will be performed free of charge, but we need to purchase a special occluder - a heart implant that will help solve the problem with the heart and allow our daughter to live a full life. The cost of the occluder is too high for our family, but we really want the child to overcome the disease. I am divorced from my wife. The children live with me. After the full-scale invasion of the invaders, I lost my job. My income is small, because I do not have a permanent job, I am partially employed. Therefore, I appeal to all caring people with a request to help Victoria. Please help my daughter have a full-fledged healthy heart! Vadim Sepyk, Lviv region. Cardiovascular surgeon of the First Territorial Medical Association of Lviv Besh Dmytro: «Patient Victoria Sepyk has a congenital heart defect - an atrial septal defect. To avoid the progression of complications, the girl needs surgery - closing the heart defect endovascularly using an occluder. After the surgery, the child will recover quickly, return to an active life and be healthy». The occluder supplier issued an invoice for UAH 102 500. Dear friends!
