In May of this year, doctors discovered a congenital heart defect in our daughter - a secondary atrial septal defect with a diameter of 6 mm. Natalie was immediately scheduled for surgery: closure of the heart defect using an endovascular method using an occluder. Such an operation should be performed as early as possible, and due to the large size of the hole, as soon as possible. If the hole is not closed now, in the future, this ailment can lead to undesirable consequences: a reduction in the duration and quality of life, other concomitant health problems associated with this heart defect. After the treatment, doctors predict a full recovery.

This is a gentle intervention, after which the child will quickly recover and develop normally».

Natalya Marynets was successfully operated on in the First Territorial Medical Association of the city of Lviv. The atrial septal defect was closed endovascularly using a special device - an occluder. An hour after the operation, the girl was in the ward with her mother. The work of the heart and circulatory system has been restored. Natalya feels well and is already at home.
